
KATHMANDU:- Nepal Samajbadi Congress has called for freeing the country from corruption.
Organising a press conference here today, the party said corruption was flourishing lately in the country and demanded the government and authorities concerned to act against this.
It has sought the government’s intervention in stemming the rising inflation, crimes and the unemployment issue.
On the occasion, party President Govinda Niraula sought the government’s concern towards border encroachment and demanded to bring back the ‘encroached’ land.
As he argued, the concept of national census should be revised, national dress code should be implemented and people in the government services should compulsorily wear national uniform.
The party wants the creation of an atmosphere for Nepali migrants to return home and seek career back to home. Party Vice-Chair Pushpa Rana Ghale urged the government to make efforts for ensuring equal facilities to Nepali in the British Army service.
