KATHMANDU: The plenary meeting of the UCPN-Maoist scheduled to be started from today has been put off. An informal meeting of party office bearers held at the residence of party chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, in Lazimpat this morning, put off the meeting until 7:00 am Tuesday, central member Narayan Dahal said.
Central member Dahal said that today’s meeting was postponed after three cadres coming to Kathmandu to take part in the plenum died in a road accident at Krishnabhir.
Some 5,300 cadres from across the nation have arrived in Kathmandu to take part in the meeting, according to the UCPN-Maoist.
There is a programme to present contemporary and political proposal prepared by party chairman Dahal.
