CA election is the way-out for current political stalemate of Nepal: Ambassador Bodde

NEW YORK / UNITED STATES: Nepalese Ambassador to the United States Peter J. Bodde has said that the elected government formed following the election of the constituent assembly is the way out for the current political stalemate dogging the country.

Addressing the 31st conference of Association of Nepalese in America (ANA) on Thursday, Ambassador Bodde expressed the fear the country will enter in further political crisis if the election was not held at the stipulated time. He also urged the leaders of Nepali Political parties to give outlet to the current political stalemate through CA poll.

Appreciating the contribution made by Americans of Nepali Origin for the development of the country, he appealed them to be active to mainstream Nepali Society in American mainstream.

Similarly, addressing the inaugural session of ANA along with Boidde, president of Nepali Congress Sushil Koirala, literature Tulasi Diwas also expressed best wishes for the success of the program. Similarly, people, who climbed Mount Everest also exhibited on the occasion.

Renowned mountaineer Apa Sherpa, Shailee Basnet, Junita Subba, Aang, Tshiring Sherpa among others were also facilitated on the occasion during the program called Heros of Himalayan. The program was chaired by Chairperson of the Interim Committee Chewang Sherpa and coordinator of the organizing committee Sameer Maharjan welcomed the participants to the workshop.

After the inaugural session a workshop was held where online journalists Bishow Raj Thapa, Pradip Thapa Magar, Dhananjaya KC, Milan Gurung, Shailesh Pokharel among others were facilitated on the occasion.

Senior comedian Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya presented a comedy show on the occasion, while DJ knight presented entertaining program on the occasion. The conference which will discuss the immigration law, investment in Nepal among others will conclude on Saturday.
