Nepali Congress obstructed the government’s plan to bring the budget because it was going to be brought to influence the election, said Congress senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuwa.
Speaking at a press-meet organized by Nepal Press Union at Kanchanpur on Monday, he opined the budget that affects the election should not be brought.
Demanding that the Baburam Bhattarai led government to step down immediately, Deuwa claimed Congress should get the leadership of yet-to-be-formed national consensus government.
He also accused the Prime Minister Dr Bhattarai of inviting the problems by announcing the election date unilaterally.
He commented that the tendency of slapping leaders is wrong and said that this type’s of tendency should be ended.
