DHANGADI: Traffic police teams along with breathalyzers have been mobilized in four districts of far-western region from Tuesday in a bid to check drunk driving.
While checked through the devise that measures alcohol content in a person’s expired breath, it will help know whether vehicle driver is drunk, said Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) at the Regional Traffic Police Office, Kailali, Pramodh Kharel, adding the initiative will surely reduce the growing number of road mishaps.
Police teams have been mobilized with the devices on different road sections in Kailali, Kanchanpur, Doti and Dadeldhura districts of far-western as per the need, Kharel informed. RSS
