Bomb planted at Land Revenue office diffused


Kanchanpur, Mar. 29: A bomb disposal team of the Nepal Army defused this morning an IED planted by an unknown group last night at Land Revenue Office Kanchanpur.

 

Police had informed the Nepal Army after they saw the bomb in a tin can at the Veranda of the Office.

 

The army defused it by stopping traffic along East West Highway.

 

Earlier, police had found four bombs at the Barakunda of Bhimdutta municipality during patrol.

 

Police has not been able to identify groups which have been terrorizing life in the municipality area in recent days. RSS
