
KATHMANDU: Nepal Police have arrested the Netra Bikram Chand ‘Biplav’ led Maoist group’s Valley commander Maila Lama from Kandaghari of Kathmandu.
He was arrested at midnight yesterday following a special tip-off, according to Chief of the Metropolitan Crime Division of Nepal Police SSP Sahakul Thapa.
Lama was in the wanted list of Nepal Police for his involvement in bomb explosions that took place in various parts of the capital. He was arrested along with his aide, Resham Tamang.
It may be noted that the government has banned the activities of the group.
