Bimalendra Nidhi announces candidacy for Nepali Congress President


N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Nepali Congress Vice President Bimalendra Nidhi has announced his candidature for the post of party president. He formally announced his candidature at a press conference at Baneshwor Banquet in Thapagaun, Kathmandu on Thursday.

At the press conference, he said, “At this stage of my past background and leadership experience, I have presented myself as the Central President of the Nepali Congress.” I would also like to make it clear that my candidacy is based on the wisdom and logic of making the practical aspects of the changed political system meaningful. ‘

Leader Nidhi has promised to make the Nepali Congress win the upcoming election with a majority and to facilitate the generational process in the Congress. The fund will amend the party’s constitution to make it easier for generations to be elected or nominated more than twice at any one level or post of the party.

He also promised to implement the issue of amending the constitution as per the official decision of the party and to institutionalize the republic. The fund also announced that it would fulfill its promises within five years.
