Subsitute player Bimal Gharti Magar saved Nepal from a certain defeat with his 91st minute equalizer against Pakistan in the SAFF Championship 2013 at Dasharath Stadium Tuesday evening in front of capacity crowd.
Earlier, Pakistani striker Hassan Bashir had scored for Pakistan in the 13th minute. Both Nepal and Pakistan will take a point each from the match. Nepal find themselves at the top of Group ‘A’ with four points from two games.
Of the total 14 matches played with Pakistan, Nepal had won six matches, lost five and played three draw. In the earlier matches, Nepal had defeated Bangladesh 2-0 while Pakistan had lost to India 1-0.
