N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU: A meeting of the senior leaders of lead political parties- UCPN Maoist, Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN UML on Sunday afternoon failed to reach any conclusion.
Outstanding issues related to formation of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission and Commission on Forced Disappearances were discussed in the meeting.
The meeting was called following a meeting between leaders of NC and UML on the same issue.
Along with the commission, the parties are known to have touched on the issues related peace process and constitution writing process.
Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, Maoist Chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal, NC leader Sher Bahadur Deuba, Ram Chandra Poudel and UML Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal, among other top leaders, participated in the discussion.
