Bhattarai not in mood to give up ‘so soon’


KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai has claimed that he will leave his stead only to legislative elected Prime Minister.

Speaking to journalist at the airport upon his return from Brazil, where he had gone to take part in the Rio+20 conference, he ruled out his resignation.

“Reins of the government will be handed over to a parliament elected government,” Bhattarai said.

His denial to step in the near future,however comes at a time when the political parties have intensified discussions with the President to remove him from the post.
