Bhansali couldn’t work with Sushant Singh due to date issues, Says Mumbai Police
MUMBAI:- Bollywood Director Bhansali had offered four films to Late Actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Mumbai Police is investigating the suicide case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
According to police, Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali had offered four films to Sushant. Of these, three were blockbusters, and one flopped. Sushant could not work in any of Bhansali’s films due to lack of time, as stated by Mumbai Police. In a statement to the police, Bhansali said that he had offered ‘Goliyo Ki Raslila’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’, and ‘Padmavat’ to Sushant. He was offered the lead role in ‘Ramlila’ and ‘Bajirao’. In the film ‘Padmavat’, Sushant was offered the role of Raja, which was later played by Shahid Kapoor. He could not make these films due to a shortage of time. Similarly, Sushant and Yashraj Films had signed an agreement for three films. Sushant was in agreement with Yash Raj till 2015. Sushant had his first film ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ with Yash Raj, for which he was given Rs 3 million.
In the second film ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshi’, he got Rs 10 million. The third film was ‘Pani’. However, this film could not be made. On Saturday, Mumbai Police took a statement from Yashraj Films’ casting director Shanu Sharma. Police have also seized CCTV footage of Sushant’s building. Recordings will be analyzed with the help of forensic experts. Sushant committed suicide by hanging himself on June 14 at his apartment in Bandra, Mumbai. He is said to be depressed.
