Beni-Jomsom Road disrupted


MYAGDI The Beni-Jomsom road, the only roadway to link Mustang district which is called a district beyond the Himalayas, has been disrupted with the beginning of the rainy season.

The road section was disrupted after the roads began to crumble away and rivers in the roadway have been flooded.

The religious and other tourists to and from the Muktinath temple in Mustang district have been stranded in the way. With the rainfall, vehicles could not pass through Ghattekhola (river) and Rupse river as they were swollen. The road section was encroached by river in Bhirkot of Myagdi district as well. RSS
