
KATHMANDU:Belarus has established its Consular Office for Nepal in Kathmandu.
Located in Bishalnagar of the Capital, the Office has come into operation from today.
Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Nepal, Vitaly A. Prima, inaugurated the Office amidst a programme hoisting the national flag of Belarus.
On the occasion, he talked about potentialities of collaboration between Nepal and Belarus and said the government of Belarus is ready to provide support to Nepal’s education sector.
Belarus Honorary Consular to Nepal Ajeyraj Sumargi said he is committed to cooperate with Nepal for the promotion of trade also.
Former Prime Ministers Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Kirtinidhi Bista, former ministers, chiefs and office-bearers of diplomatic missions in the Capital, leaders of various political parties, government secretaries, business people, artistes and media persons attended the inauguration ceremony.
