Bandipur endorses new budget of Rs 558 million
DAMAULI: Bandipur Rural Municipality in Tanahun district approved the budget of Rs 558.2 million for the fiscal year 2020/21 from the rural municipal executive on Wednesday.
Rural Municipality Chairperson Purna Singh Thapa said that the new budget has prioritized the development of tourism, agriculture, cooperatives, education, and physical infrastructures for a prosperous Bandipur. According to Thapa, employment programs, grants and subsidy programs to promote agriculture, and women skills development programs have been unveiled by the rural municipality in the new budget. Similarly, the rural municipality has decided to distribute electronic ovens to economically poor households. The rural municipality has targeted to collect Rs 40.3 million from its own internal sources.
