KATHMANDU: Two officials of Nepal Industrial Development Corporation (NIDC), a state-owned financial institution, have been transferred, breaching the election code of conduct issued by the Election Commission (EC).
Those transferred officials are Indira Yadav and Bechu Maharjan.
According to Biratnagar Regional Office of the NIDC, Officer Yadav was transferred to Biratnagar from Kathmandu while Maharjan was transferred to Kathmandu from Dhangadhi office.
The EC had already issued election code of conduct in the name of government not to transfer and promote the officials except for the provision of election after declaration of the elections to the Constituent Assembly (CA) on November 22. RSS
