
KATHMANDU:- Commander of the United States Army Pacific Command (USARPAC) US general Charles A Flynn has arrived in Nepal on a four-day goodwill visit.
Mr Flynn was received by high level official of Nepal Army at Tribhuvan International Airport on Thursday. The NA has said the visiting Flin would hold a meeting with NA Chief of Army Prabhu Ram Sharma at NA Headquarters on Friday.
Similarly, as per travel schedule, Flynn will visit the Everest base camp on Saturday and go to Birendra Peace Operation Training Centre of Panchkhal, Kavre on Sunday.
The Asia-Pacific Chief of the US Army will also call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
According to the US Embassy in Nepal, Flynn’s visit was a part of the continuation of decades of security cooperation between Nepal and the US.
