Aralo journey of Nepali stock market was stopped


KATHMANDU:- The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has risen by a modest number. On Wednesday, the NEPSE index rose by 5.28 points and stood at 2633.66 points.

A total of 223 companies had a turnover of Rs 2.74 billion on this day. 53 lakh 10 thousand 215 lots of shares have been bought and sold.
Of the 13 groups traded, the index of 9 groups has risen while the index of 4 groups has declined. Nepal Telecom had the highest turnover on Wednesday. It has a turnover of over Rs. 145 million.
Similarly, Himalayan Distillery was among the top three most traded companies with over 100 million transactions and women’s microfinance with over 90 million transactions.
Even in the market where the general numbers have increased, the share price of the two companies has started a positive circuit. Investors in Nyadi Hydropower and Samling Power Company have earned about 10 percent.

Shares of Corporate Development Bank rose 9.33 percent, Samridhi Finance 7.73 percent, Narayani Development Bank 7.39 percent and Chyangradi Hydropower 5.26 percent.
