KATHMANDU:- The US, British and Australian ambassadors to Nepal are on a visit to Rara Lake in Mugu. The US Embassy in Kathmandu tweeted this information on Sunday. US Ambassador Randy Berry, British Ambassador Nicola Polit and Australian Ambassador Philisty Volk Rara are on a visit. This is the first time foreign visitors have visited Rara since the Corona epidemic.
The team reached Rara from Kathmandu via Taragunj on Sunday via Nepalgunj. The ambassadors also visited the district to study the impact of climate change and to observe their country’s projects through NGOs operating in Mugu.
The embassy said the visit was to study the impact of climate change on the lives of people and people in the Himalayan region. On Monday, Rara National Park staff, hoteliers, journalists and civil society are scheduled to discuss the impact of climate change on the shores of Rara Lake. They will remain in Mugu even on Tuesday.
