At the ceremony, the President also accepted Letters of Credence from Dr. Urs Herren, Ms. Kirsten Rosenvold and Mr. Sami Mohammed Al-Sulaiman, ambassadors from the Swiss Confederation, Kingdom of Denmark and State of Kuwait respectively.

The Indian, Swiss and Danish ambassadors are residential while the Ambassador from Kuwait resides in New Delhi with concurrent accreditation to the Court of Nepal.

The ceremony was attended by Minister for Foreign Affairs Madhav Prasad Ghimire, Chief of Army Staff Gurav Shumser Rana, Secretary at the Office of the President Sharada Prasad Trital, Foreign Secretary Arjun Bahadur Thapa and other senior officials from the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
