Almutairi, the head coach of football, came to Nepal


KATHMANDU:- Head coach of the Nepali football team Mohammad Almutairi has arrived in Kathmandu on Saturday evening. He was welcomed at the airport by ANFA officials. This is Almutairi’s second visit to Nepal. He responded that he would not come to Nepal after a clean game, but now he is happy to return to Nepal. Admitting that the last three or four months have been difficult, Almutairi said that he came to Nepal at the request of ANFA and Qatar Football Association.
More important than money is his reaction that Nepalese like football. Almutairi also said that there was a good response after the clean cup and now he is confident that he can do something in football. However, he also suggested not to expect too much.

He urged not to expect Nepal to qualify for the World Cup. Saying that Nepal’s goal is another clean cup, he said that now they will focus on Asia qualifiers. He is confident that Nepal will reach the Asia Cup in 2027. Almutairi came to Nepal after agreeing to a three-year agreement.
