N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has agreed to return to the party structure before 16 May 2018. The agreement was reached during a meeting between party president Oli and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal at Singha Durbar on Friday night.
The senior leader informed that an agreement has been reached to return to Nepal on 16 May 2018 as per the decision of the Supreme Court. According to him, a consensus will be reached by forming a task force in discussions with top leaders.
“It has been agreed to solve the party’s problem by returning on 16 May 2018. A modality will be formed by forming a task force for that,” Pant said. Senior leader Nepal Group has been making the issue of returning tomorrow, Sunday, 16 May 2018, the ‘bottom line’.
PM Oli and Leader Nepal will decide on the leader of the task force on Saturday. Oli and Nepal have agreed to form a task force to resolve the dispute in the party and preserve unity.
A discussion was held between Oli and Nepal on Thursday to resolve the dispute within the party. After that, a discussion was held on Friday with the second-tier leaders of both sides.
