A team of the All Nepal Revolutionary Media Print and Publication Workers Association damaged the reception tower of Ncell company on Wednesday to protest against the ignorance by the Hello Nepal Company towards the demand to reinstate the allegedly expelled staff of the telephone company.
Affiliated to the CPN-Maoist, the Association damaged a tower leading to disturbances in telephone reception in Buddhanagar area.
As Teliasonera is the company that has invested in both Ncell and Hello Nepal, the tower was damaged and this campaign would be expanded across the country from today, said Coordinator of the Association Janmadev Jaisi.
The Association is staging various rounds of protests against the alleged expulsion of 87 staff by Hello Nepal proprietor Ajay Sumargi for demanding a letter of appointment.
