After meeting Poudel at the residence, President Deuba met him


KATHMANDU:- Senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel, who had requested to be considered as a candidate for the post of President of the Nepali Congress at the 14th General Convention of the Nepali Congress, was saddened to see more aspirants in his group.
Otherwise, he wanted to choose a unanimous leadership candidate from his group. That is why he announced his withdrawal from the presidential race. He expressed his support for Shekhar Koirala.

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is also the Prime Minister, has reached his residence in Bohratar to meet the leader Ram Chandra Poudel who felt humiliated at the General Convention. Deuba reached Poudel’s residence in Bohratar on Saturday night, a few hours after he was nominated for the post. According to a source, Deuba urged Poudel not to leave politics.

He asked about Poudel’s health condition and asked him to take care of it. Poudel, on the other hand, said that he was saddened by the competition going beyond his principles and ideals. Poudel has asked those who have registered their candidacies to compete in a healthy manner. In the Poudel group, Prakash Man Singh and Shekhar Koirala are vying for the chairmanship.
