
KATHMANDU: Although the performance of the Nepali football players is declining every day, Nepali football official is getting the honor from the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
The AFC has announced to honor All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) General Secretary Dhirendra Pradhan with Service Award gold medal for his long service to football.
AFC honors those individuals who have devoted more than 30 years of their lives to football with the award.
Pradhan on Tuesday left for Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to receive the award scheduled for May 2. A former Nepal international Pradhan has also clinched gold medal in the First South Asian Games held in Kathmandu in 1984.
