Additional 380 infections confirmed today; 117 return following recovery

KATHMANDU:- As many as 380 individuals have tested positive to coronavirus disease in the country today alone.
At a regular press conference organized by the Ministry of Health and Population, spokesperson Dr Jageswor Gautam shared that 352 male and 28 female have been confirmed to have contracted the virus across the country today. With the new cases, the national tally climbs to 6,591. Out of them 6,092 are male and 499 are female.
Meanwhile, a total of 117 infected have returned home following recovery from various isolation centres in the country. The discharged include 109 male and eight female, Dr Gautam informed.
According to the ministry sources, so far 143,738 PCR tests and 223,519 RDT tests have been undertaken across the country. As many as 133,009 people are being quarantined and 5,531 are staying in isolation facilities throughout the country.
