Additional 147 people diagnosed with coronavirus


KATHMANDU:- As many as 147 people had tested positive for the coronavirus in the last 24 hours. At least 136 people were confirmed to have contracted the virus while undergoing PCR tests among 1,446 and 11 were diagnosed with virus infection during Antigen tests among 327.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, total number of coronavirus infected has reached 84, 652 with the addition of 147 cases. Likewise, three children under 10 have been confirmed with the virus while nine under the age group of 11-20 were diagnosed.
Likewise, with the addition of a death case in the last 24 hours, total death toll from coronavirus infection has climbed 11, 278. In the last 24 hours, 845 coronavirus infected have returned home after recovery while 780,776 have so far recovered from the virus.
Currently there are 12,598 coronavirus infected in Nepal. Among them, 11,544 are staying at home isolation and 1,054 at institutional isolation, the ministry sources said. As many as 307 coronavirus patients are being treated at ICU and 97 on ventilator support.
