Actor Deepak Raj Giri Says “I don’t want to be Super-star forcibly”
KATHMANDU: It has been more than 3 months that Nepali Entertainers have stopped entertaining audiences through movies and shows. Due to world pandemic COVID-19, all movie theaters are closed as prevention from the mass gathering. Even though halls are closed for 3 months Nepali citizens are still getting entertained by celebrities controversies.
A few months ago Actor Barsha Raut expressed her opinion related to Nepal-India border disputes. She said it’s been hard to face her Indian friends due to the border’s argument. In response, she had to face mass criticism and bad comments for nearly 1 week. After Barsha Actress Puja Sharma came into the limelight of controversies. In an interview with one TV show Puja said, there are 72 States and 14 Districts in Nepal, for which she got badly trolled all over social media. Before Puja’s issue could cool, versatile actress Deepa Shree Niroula became another topic for debate. Again in one interview with the TV show, she questioned the prestigious title given to Actor Rajesh Hamal as “Super-Star”.Like Barsha Raut, she had to tolerate heavy negative comments and denunciation. Including Deepa Shree’s statement about Hamal people satire her and created meme saying “Is Deepak Raj Giri Your Super-Star”. Without uttering a word Actor Deepak got involved in an argument and people started trolling him.
In return, Giri posted a status saying, “Ever since I became an artist, I thought I could have become like Hari dai, Madan Dai and Santosh Pant Dai My way, my goal never turned to the superhero’s house, Thanks to those who forcibly made me a superhero without my fault. When the crowd is gathering by shouting untruths It’s better that truth walks its own way with silently”.
