N24 Saff Writer, KATHMANDU: Purna Prasad Acharya has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of CDSC and Clearing Limited (CDSC).
The selection committee formed to advise the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), had recommended the names of three candidates out of the six shortlisted candidates for the post of CEO of CDSC on Sunday. Among the three were Purna Prasad Acharya, Bhishma Raj Chalise and Krishna Giri.
Moreover, the meeting of board of directors on Monday chose Acharya as a CEO of CDSC. Purna Prasad Acharya is a retired Manager of the Agriculture Development Bank.
CDSC had called for applications for the post of CEO on Ashad 16. The post of CEO at CDSC was vacant after the tenure of the former CEO Dev Prakash Gupta had ended.
CDS and Clearing Limited, a company established under the Company Act is a company promoted by Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) in 2010 to provide centralized depository, clearing and settlement services in Nepal.
