    89 new cases of corona infection register on Monday

    KATHMANDU: A total of 89 new cases of COVID-19 were registered on Monday in the country.
    Similarly, 41 infected persons have recovered in the same period. According to Ministry of Health and Population, with these total recovery has reached 270,927 till today. The recovery percentage is 98. Meanwhile, Ministry spokesperson Dr Jageshwar Gautam, has urged all to be benefited from the vaccination programmes launched by the government. The second phase of the immunization has begun on Sunday, targeting citizens above 65 years of age.
    Under the campaign, the government has targeted to vaccinate against 1,782,469 people. As of today, 165,428 have got vaccinated.
