
KATHMANDU:- The country recorded a total of 6,462 new cases of corona virus infection and four COVID-19 related deaths in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population confirmed.
During the period, altogether 13,377 RT-PCR and 5,598 antigen tests were held.
Ministry’s assistant spokesperson Dr Samir Adhikari stated that 1,416 individuals got recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.
With the new cases, the country now has 77,000 plus reported active cases of corona virus infection.
Meanwhile, more than 50 doctors, health workers and officials of Teku Hospital contracted the virus leading to the postponement of the vaccination drive in the hospital from January 24-30.
