5 burglars loot house on khukuri-point in Nepal’s capital


KATHMANDU: An unidentified gang looted cash and property worth approximately Rs. 1.2 million from a house at Dadhikot VDC- 9 in Bhaktapur district last night.

A group of five masked men that barged into Gopal Prasad Pathak’s house at 1 a.m. in the night plundered valuables and cash at the house, brandishing rods and khukuris and taking the family members under control.

The robbers looted 10 tolas of gold, seven kilogrammes of silver, five mobile phone sets and Rs. 80,000 from the house, according to the Pathaks. The Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi said a search is on for nabbing the looters. RSS
