4 dead in Kanchanpur as bus collides with tractor


KANCHANPUR: Four people died and 14 others were injured in a collision between a bus and a tractor at Krishnapur on the East-West highway in Kanchanpur District last night.

The passenger bus (registration plate number- Ma 1 Kha 416) was heading towards Dhangadhi from Bhimdattanagar while the tractor (Se 1 Pa 1648) was coming from the opposite direction when they collided.

Those killed in the accident are Niwas Rana and Laxmi Rana of Dekhatbhuli while the name and address of two others is not known. They all died in course of treatment.

Four among the injured are in a critical condition, according to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur. The accident took place at about 10 last night. The injured are undergoing treatment at Padma Hospital, Kailali. RSS
