336 new cases of COVID-19 registered on Thursday


KATHMANDU: A total of 336 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the past 24 hours in the country.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, these cases were identified while conducting PCR tests on 5,030 individuals. With this, total infected number has reached 268,646 so far in the country. Ministry further shared that 226 infected persons have recovered in the same period.
With this, total recovery has reached 262,868 till today. There are 3,799 are active cases of the infection across the country. The Ministry further confirmed that four infected patients died of the infection in the past 24 hours. Total deaths caused by the infection have reached 1,979 in the country.
