
KATHMANDU:- The country has reported 315 more COVID-19 cases and six infection-related deaths in the past 24 hours. The caseloads were generated from a total of 11,403 infection tests, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. With this, the death toll from the deadly infection has hit 11,535. Active infection caseloads have hit 7,045. The total virus recovery numbers have reached 800,201 with 273 in the past 24 hours. The recovery rate is 97.7 percent and death rate 1.4 percent, said the Ministry.
At present, 6,715 infected people have been in home-isolation and 330 in institution-isolation. Similarly, 110 have been admitted to intensive care units and 38 are on a ventilator support.
