Phurpa Sherpa, KATHMANDU:- The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) confirmed 278 more new cases of COVID-19 and the number of infected people in Nepal reached 2,912.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population spokesperson Dr. Bikash Devkota, the PCR test conducted in different laboratories in Nepal demonstrated Morang, Sunsari, Jhapa, Argakhachi, Nawalparasi, Palpa, Rupandehi, Sindhuli, Bara, Tanahun, Bhojpur, Kailali, Achham, Bajhang, Dadeldhura, Ramechhap, Kavre, Dailekh, Jumla, Surkhet, Dang, Dhanusha, Kathmandu, Kapilvastu and Mahottari have been infected. Of those infected, 267 are males and 11 females informed in the regular press briefing.
Meanwhile, the number of infected people has been reached 2,912 in Nepal and the COVID-19 infection has spread in 68 districts of Nepal now.
So far, the number of people returning home after recovery has reached 333 including eleven death cases.
