
TANAHUN: As many as 27 passengers sustained injuries when a bus with Indian number plate met with an accident at Byas municipality-12, Kamalabari in Tanahun along the Prithvi Highway this morning.
According to the District Police Office, Tanahun, some 27 passengers were injured when the bus (UPBP 4995) en route to Muktinath lost its control and overturned on the highway side.
Among the injured, 12 were sent to Pokhara-based Manipal Teaching Hospital while others were discharged after primary aid.
Six among the injured are in moderate condition. The accident might have taken place due to high speed, police guessed.
