238 new cases, one fatality recorded in 24 hours


KATHMANDU:- The country has recorded 238 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, the Ministry of Health and Population said.
The new cases were confirmed from 9,123 samples tested during the same period.
Similarly, a COVID-19 patient died in a day, taking the number of COVID-19 fatality caseload to 11,496 till date.
Likewise, 370 infected ones enjoyed recovery in the past 24 hours. The recovery rate stands at 97.7 per cent. Currently, there are a total of 7,164 active cases in the country.
Meanwhile, 40,014 people were vaccinated against the deadly infection in the past 24 hours, informed the Ministry here today.
