KATHMANDU:- A total of 186 new cases of Corona Virus were confirmed today in the country, taking the total number of active cases to 5,036. Of the 4,216 swab samples tested in 27 different labs, 186 confirmed positive to Corona Virus in the past 24 hours, said Ministry of Health and Population spokesperson Dr Jageswar Gautam at the regular press meet today.
The total tally of infection has reached 17,844 with 11,868 people recovering from the deadly virus. Presently, 22,228 people are still quarantined in the country.
The new infections today were reported in Sunsari, Jhapa, Morang, Ilam, Siraha, Saptari, Dhanusa, Bara, Parsa, Kathmandu, Sarlahi, Solukhumbu, Lalitpur, Kaski and Lamjung districts. Also, news cases were confirmed in Tanahu, Syangja, Banke, Rolpa, Salyan, Rukum east, Dang, Dailekh, Surkhet, Humla, Kalikot, Doti and Kailali.
