168 new cases of COVID-19 diagnosed on Monday


KATHMANDU:- Coronavirus cases are increasing day by day in the country. As many as 168 people were tested positive for the contagion on Monday alone.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new cases of coronavirus were detected while conducting 3,020 tests. It may be noted that the country had recorded 121 new coronavirus cases on July 10.
Similarly, thirty-seven people have been recovered from the virus during the period.
There are 770 active cases of coronavirus in the country. With this, the number of people so far recovered from the coronavirus has reached 967,724. The recovery rate as of now is 98.7 per cent, according to the Ministry.
The Kathmandu Valley has more than 200 active cases of coronavirus. A total of 749 infected are on home isolation, 21 on institutional isolation, 12 are in ICU and one on ventilator support.
