
KATHMANDU:- A total of 1,325 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in the country in the past 24 hours. Of them, altogether 767 cases were witnessed in the Kathmandu Valley, Spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population Dr Jageshwar Gautam said in a daily press briefing. With this, the number of total infected reached 64,122 in the country till date.
He shared that a total of 17,478 are now the active cases of corona virus in the country. Of them, 9,071 are in institutional isolation centres while 8,407 others are in home isolations across the country. Dr Gautam further shared that, 966 have returned home after complete health recovery from the virus across the country in past 24 hours.
According to Gautam, 411 people succumbed to the virus in the country.
