130 new COVID cases, seven death cases recorded in 24 hours

KATHMANDU: One hundred thirty new coronavirus cases were recorded in the last 24 hours in the country.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, coronavirus was confirmed on 130 individuals in course of carrying out PCR tests on 3,333 people. With this, number of coronavirus infected people has reached 272,055 so far. Similarly, 194 people returned home after recovery in the last 24 hours. With this, 268,266 people have returned home after recovery so far.
There are 1,744 active coronavirus cases in the country, according to the ministry. Of them, 92 are in quarantine and 1,744 in isolation. Kathmandu Valley has the highest number of active cases which is 1,120. Meanwhile, seven persons died from coronavirus in last 24 hours. With this, number of people who have died from coronavirus has reached 2,045 in the country so far, according to the Ministry.
