112 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: A total of 112 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in the country in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new cases were reported from the 3,411 PCR tests conducted during this period.
With the new cases, the total COVID-19 caseload has reached 273,872 in the country. Likewise, 48 persons infected with coronavirus infection have been recovered in the last 24 hours. With this, the recovery number has totaled at 270,223 which puts the recovery rate at 98.7 per cent in Nepal, the Ministry said in a press briefing today. Similarly, a total of 2,767 COVID-19 infected persons have lost their lives so far. There was no fatality reported in the last 24 hours, the Ministry said.
