11 arrested Afghans hand over to the Immigration Department


N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Eleven Afghan nationals arrested in Kathmandu’s Sinamangal have been handed over to the Immigration Department.

DIG Dhiraj Pratap Singh said that the 11 arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have been handed over to the department for action as per the Immigration Act.

“As 11 Afghans have entered Nepal illegally, action will be taken as per the Immigration Act,” said DIG Singh.

The CIB arrested Amanullah Mohammadi, Ajmal Sarifi, Akam Jazai, Romal Hotak, Isnullah Hassemi, Imran Ali Jada, Mohammad Jamrai Sanikzai, Nazifa Stanikzai, Misbah Jain Stanikzai, Nurul Haya Staniqzai, Mohammad Ryan Staniqzai.

After the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, they fled and entered Nepal via India.
