11 Afghan nationals arrested in Kathmandu


By Ranjana Thapa Magar, KATHMANDU:- Eleven Afghan nationals have been arrested from Sinamangal in Kathmandu.

According to DIG Dhiraj Pratap Singh, the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police arrested them from a house in Sinamangal this morning.

According to the CIB, Aadhaar cards of India were also recovered from six of the arrested persons. Police said that the recovered Indian Aadhaar card was fake.

After the Taliban took power in Afghanistan, they fled and entered Nepal via India. They were found to have entered Nepal from Belahiya on the Nepal-India border in Rupendehi.
