10 Nepalese stranded in Thailand rescued



BANGKOK: Ten Nepalese who were stranded in Thailand have been rescued and repatriated to Nepal. The Nepalis had reached Thailand for a training on food and beverage through a Kathmandu-based consultancy.
The Nepalis filed a complaint with the Nepali Embassy in Bangkok stating they were not provided facilities as per agreement after reaching there through the Kirtipur Abroad Studies Consultancy in Bagbazaar, Kathmandu.
Following this, the Embassy rescued three of them on July 17 and the remaining on July 19, according to a statement issued by the Embassy. They were taking part in at training at the Bangkok-based International Hotel and Airlines School.
